WHY DOJA DIRECT 

Doja Direct , we are consumers first and most of us initially got into the business in our teenage years so that we could smoke weed for free. Things have changed since then but we still have the same excitement for the plant as when we started and to this day we can say; we only sell what we smoke and we only smoke what we sell. DOJA DIRECT

Doja was established in Sacramento California in late 2016 as a patient to patient collective in the prop 215 medical cannabis era, prior to the current state regulations. We began as a Sacramento county delivery service and we sourced our product from a 12 light grow operation in the garage of the house where we lived and worked.

The original collective was formed by three friends as an avenue to legally grow cannabis for ourselves and other members of our collective. Within the first few months we began to offer delivery services and soon realized that we needed drivers, so we hired a couple of young men to help. Together the five of us ran the delivery service 7 days a week until December 31st, 2017 which was the last day of prop 215 medical cannabis sales in California.

2018 was a pivotal year in the California cannabis scene. The term grey market is often used to describe this grace period, a time of transition from the old ways to a newly regulated cannabis industry. Many significant events happened in 2018 and some of these events changed the landscape of the global cannabis movement
